• What type of documents can DocHost support?
DocHost can store just about any file type. There have more than 245 file types that have been tested on DocHost.
• May I store data (indexed) information associated with my documents?
DocHost can store your indexed information along with the file in the database. This indexed information can be imported into the database in a BULK upload provided by iDOC’s Technical Support Team OR can be entered by the end user once the document has been uploaded to the database.
• Is DocHost reliable and secured?
DocHost is a proven, industry leading document management system. You can host hundreds of thousands, even millions of documents within one database with an unlimited number of users. All data is stored and backed up in iDOC’s premier datacenter.
• Is my data safe and can it be accessible by any other DocHost Users?
All data stored within the DocHost application is secure and not accessible by iDOC’s employees. iDOC’s system administrators can grant and deny access to the database, but is unable to view the data.
• Does DocHost have an affiliate or reseller program?

• I have signed up for a 14 day free trial, what's next?
A "confirmation" email should be sent to the email address filled in on the form provided by the trial icon. Once the confirmation email is received the new user should confirm receipt. When the email address is verified a NEW email will be sent with login information (Link, User Name and Password)
• What Browsers will DocHost work in?
DocHost’s will work with all the industry leading Internet Browser’s (IE, Chrome, Firefox, etc)
• What is storage limit?
Storage Limit is the amount of space you may consume on iDOC’s server. This is the space where your documents are stored securely and backed up for your protection. The amount of storage can grow as your needs do.
• Is DocHost easy to use?
DocHost was designed with a simplistic use in mind. The program is very easy to use and has help tools throughout the program to help guide you as you work within the program.
• Does DocHost require any special hardware or software?
NO, Dochost only requires an internet connection with any available Internet Browser. You can run from any desktop, laptop or PDF.
• Can I share my documents with people that do not have a DocHost account?
YES, You may share your documents with persons that do not have access to DocHost. You may share an individual file or share an entire folder to any user by simply sending an email.
• What happens to my documents if I cancel my account?
DocHost wants to help manage your documents on a day to day basis. Your documents are your documents. You may view, download, email and search your documents while in the database at any given time. If you chose to close your account iDOC makes your documents and data available to you by exporting them to an external hard drive or disk. **Charges may apply.
• Can I upload documents directly to my database on my own?
YES, any user who has access may upload their own documents either one document at a time or in BULK (several files).
